In this version of Which is Better we will be comparing the UNSC Frag Grenade and the Covenant Plasma Grenade. These may seem like trivial things to compare but grenades are a HUGE part of Halo Reach.
Frag Grenade
In previous Halo games the Frag Grenade was used mainly to just keep enemies at bay and maybe take down their shields. However, in Halo Reach the Frag packs a serious punch. Here is a good comparison. According to Bungie I killed 4.45% of my enemies with Frag Grenades. In Halo Reach I have killed exactly 6% of my enemies with Frags. I would say that right there is a good indication that Frags are much more powerful in this game.
Plasma Grenade
The Plasma Grenade hasn’t changed a bunch in Reach. It still is an instant death if it either sticks you or if you are standing right on top of it. However, I feel like the explosion time of the grenade was extended by just a tad bit. This allows decent players to jump out of the way of the grenade. It also is very easy to see when it is coming at you you are unable to bounce it around corners.
In conclusion I believe the Frag Grenade has the upper hand. You can bounce it around walls and it is also very hard to dodge. During our tests I found that the Frag does just as much proximity damage as the Plasma Grenade does too.

The frag is only good if you know how to use it……which most people don’t, they usually use it as a last resort.

Go frag for clearing out buildings/close country because its bouncable. go plasma for disabled vehicles/ close proximity to the target because its sticky!!!!
both are good if u know how to use them but i prefer the the plasma cause thts wat im good wit.
