A video has been posted comparing things from the Halo Reach Beta to the retail release of Halo Reach. Some of the things that are compared include the DMR bloom, the recoil, and the Magnums speed. It’s actually pretty cool to see the two compared and to see how much the game has changed.
You may have noticed in the video that the bloom actually resets at the same speed. This may make a lot of people mad but it actually is fine. The reason people said they hated bloom in Reach is because there was a hit box glitch in the Beta. To get a headshot on another player you had to hit them right in the forhead. This means that if you hit them in the face it wouldn’t count as a headshot. This pissed a ton of people off and they all blamed it on bloom.
One thing that did change a lot though is the recoil for both the DMR and the Magnum. As you can see the Retail version of Reach has almost no recoil at all. No one knows if this will be good or bad yet but a lot of the competitive players are already mad about this.
We will try to post more of these comparison videos soon.
